As we prepare to make the most of the holiday season with loved ones, it is natural for us to think how we can make the most of our time together as friends and family enjoying quality time in community. With winter beauty just before us, there is a warm feeling in the air that reminds us that Christmas is almost here!

First, you will want to think about the color scheme that brings you joy this time of the year. Then gather the necessary materials for this specific project listed above like the wiring or circle shaped object you can utilize as the framework for your wreath. This is the perfect time you can put your knowledge of how to make a fancy bow or visit resources like this after you have finished this article that shows you how to put in action bow making for wreaths.

Stacy Zant Fall Custom Wreath

I had the pleasure of making my very own custom wreath bows at a class Michaels held at my local store a couple years ago. I have repeatedly used this beauty ever since when this time of the year rolls around. Instead or purchasing an already made beauty, there is so much fun in creating your own wreath and knowing you were creative enough to make a welcoming wreath to match the color scheme you have set for your home for the Holiday season.

Whether, you decide to make your own wreath for Christmas or any of the following seasons, you’ll want to bookmark this post for fabulous new ideas as they are added. This post contains a step-by step video to create your own Christmas wreath and then you will find a printable wreath craft you can enjoy with your kids. At your next gathering you can simply have a fun activity you can enjoy with the family as you decorate your home for the heartwarming holidays!

Then, there is the DIY Custom Frozen Wreath Craft you can enjoy today with your family. The Frozen Wreath printable is located in the Resource Center and Ready for you to download.

List of Supplies:

  1. Round wreath base
  2. Crepe paper – blue, white, purple etc.
  3. Glitter craft papers or foam sheets
  4. Pencil
  5. Scissors
  6. Craft glue
Step 1
You can use a store bought round wreath base for this craft or you can make one from a thick cardstock paper. Choose the one you’d like. Prepare long strips of crepe paper to wrap the round wreath base. Apply glue at the starting to secure the wrapping. The crepe paper strip I’m using is 1 inch wide.
Step 2 Frozen Wreath Craft
Don’t worry about the length, you can always add strips if the current one ends while wrapping. Try to keep the wrapping nice and even.
Step 3 Frozen Wreath Craft
Once the entire base is covered with crepe paper strips; overlap the starting by an inch and then apply glue at the end to secure the wrapping.
Step 4 Frozen Wreath Craft
I’m using glitter foam sheets to trace and cut out the snowflakes. Print and cut out the snowflake patterns. Trace the snowflake patterns on the selected glitter sheets and cut them out nicely.
Step 5 Frozen Wreath Craft
Attach the snowflake cutouts on the wreath and decorate the wreath as you want.
Step 6 Frozen Wreath Craft
You can add different colored crepe paper strips to wrap the wreath over the base wrap; you can add sequins or star shapes as well. Get crafty!
