As we prepare to make the most of the holiday season with loved ones, it is natural for us to think how we can make the most of our time together as friends and family enjoying quality time in community. With winter beauty just before us, there is a warm feeling in the air that reminds us that Christmas is almost here!
Today, I want to share with you beautiful ways to create your own unique DIY Christmas Ornaments you can customize just in time for the holidays.
Here is the list of materials you will want to gather to create your wreath:
- Ornament clear container
- Paint (Decor Art)
- solution to keep glitter in place
- glitter
- cricut
- Special Ephemera for the season
DIY Ornament
You walk into your home after a cold wintry day to be greeted by the glistening glow and warmth of the DIY ornaments customized and filled with meaning this holiday. Your ornaments represent more than the color scheme used to decorate your tree. They are filled with names & designs that represent something as dear as a memory in time and a place that played a vital role in you being who you are today. Thanks to the Cricut last year and Decor Art this year, it was easier than ever before to customize my DIY ornaments that I would like to consider to be glitterific and unique in every way!
Here are some photos & process pictured below:

In this ornament I chose to go with a simple pearlescent ornament and to add my vinyl lettering with a glove design background. I simply added a bow and pearl on top in order to hang on the Christmas tree?
The first designs I created to represent our alma mater is pictured below. I immediately did all the things, from the effects of the floating logo inside with the inside color to match to the simple print and cut feature on the cricut in order to have the lettering outside the ornament.
After multiple creations and experimentations here are all the beauties I ended up with for my home and to share at our family Christmas getaway.
