Having a vision and a vision board gives you the guide and foundation you need to build towards greater. There is a masterpiece on the Horizon but you need to create steps to get there and envision the purpose and passion to continue on when things get difficult.
For that vision to live on and to inspire those to follow after you, whether it is your very own offspring, your mentees, your employees or someone who admires what you have accomplished.
What is it that most successful visionaries have in common? They forge ahead no matter what, they hold the keys to their destiny and believe that there is a greater plan at work that has led them to their vision and purpose.
We all want to Make our Vision a Reality but there are some simple steps we must take first to be on our way to making this happen.
1. The 1st reason why you should create a Vision Board is because it is a testimony to the fact that you are serious about putting in the work to see your Vision face you each day. It’s a great way to be reminded that there are steps you must take each day to make your dreams a reality.

2. The only way to refine the vision is to begin recording the vision, placing what you see on paper or visually before you in some way. Today, I will recommend materials you can use to get that Vision in motion.

So let me show you how to create your own vision board by hand to make this season an intentional purpose filled one! Such great tips for creating a vision board. I am a firm believer in vision boards. I create mine in the beginning of the new year. I hang it in my home office wear I spend a lot of time. I love the idea of using a shadow box. Mine is definitely not very fancy. I’ll have to update it with some of your creative ideas!
Awe, Tammy I am so glad to hear this! You’re awesome for creating yours at the beginning of the year! Hope to see a photo of your updated vision Board once you have updated ?
Great post! I love the idea of using a vision board but never really tried because I never keep up with it. This post inspires me to work on a vision board again.
I am so glad to hear that Chavi! Thank you so much taking the time to read this article and hope to see a photo of your vision board which I am sure will be beautiful when you decide to make one again <3
Yours turned out great! I’ve thought about creating a vision board many many times and still haven’t tried it. I love how easy you make it look and I might just get myself together and try one. Have you ever tried to make your vision board online on something like Canva? I’m trying to avoid making trash or waste and wondering if that might work out.
Hi Delia! I have not tried a virtual vision board for my overall vision board yet, but have Put together visuals when I was working on specific projects and designed a vision plan accordingly. I like that idea and will certainly have to give it a try. I hope you will try a hands on physical vision board though. There is something about seeing your creation filled with your visions before you each day as a part of your decor ???
Wow your vision board is beautiful! I’ve always just seen a bunch of pictures stuck on posterboard…but you made it a beautiful work of art. Love love that! Vision boards are so important, I totally agree that people could be so much more focused and successful if we would really identify our goals and dreams and keep that in mind as we take the practical steps every day.
Hi Laura! That is so very sweet of you to say, thank you so much. I am so glad you embrace the importance and impact having a Vision Board can make??
